Christmas

This is the only picture I will post about Christmas day.......I love it.  Miss Sophie, who is 15 months old, and has only allowed Boyd and I to hold her a handful of times, because she only has eyes for her Daddy..................let Boyd hold her and kiss her, it was a wonderful Christmas Gift.......I didn't get any part of it, but Boyd lucked out.

Christmas Eve.....

I know I'm a little whacky.........love to have something

in bloom......These are some of my amaryllis....

These started to grow when I had them in

a box in the cubby (dark cold cubby)

They actually look better than I thought they would.

I have the bulbs from last year that are growing,

but at the rate they are it will be February before

they bloom......pictures to come.

This is Isaac reading the Christmas Story from Luke.

What I didn't get pictures of was

our kitchen flood...........

Yep.......we had the kitchen flood and the

basement under the kitchen.

It's a good thing I have about 50 towels,

I needed every single one of them.

We had to turn off the water in the kitchen.

I'm here to tell you, the bathroom sinks

are not made to do dishes in............

argggg..............

Everything is good now.  Boyd is just

handy enough to get it fixed the day after

Christmas.

Since everyone that reads this blogs knows what everybody else looks like, I took the liberty of editing a few pictures just for kicks and giggles.....mostly giggles.  I've enjoyed doing it.  I'm thinking that next year my blog will contain more goofy edited pictures................for my enjoyment.

Thirty-Flirty & Fabulous.....

This is our sweet neighbor and friend, Alisa.  She celebrated that big day today.  Harmony and I took some crowns (princesses that we are) over to wear and some cupcakes and a gift.  30 is BIG.......

Alisa was the go-to friend for Harmony and Megan, she was between them in age and was practically a fixture in our home.  She has been taking care of her sweet mother who is battling cancer..........going on 8 years now.  I'm so glad she lives next door and is there for us and her mom.  She comes over with sweet Lily for "Hot Tub Parties" Lily likes the hot tub, but I suspect she likes the hot chocolate afterwards better.

Swearing off........again......

Is there a restaurant that you have a love/hate relationship with? I do, and it's been a love-hate thing for years.  They have a hideous wait any time we go, and once you're seated, the wait continues......for the server to acknowledge that you are are in her zone, then wait for her to get your drink order.......and yet we "forget" and find ourselves there........... 

It's a good thing that our dinner companions are cute and well behaved (for the most part) and willing to wait without much complaint.

This little cutie is pretty attached to her daddy, she's great as long as

she has him in sight..............and he feeds her.

Waiting.......waiting........waiting.............

Still waiting...............................but it's

getting hard to keep smiling.

Ummmmm.......bender from heaven...........this is the reason I conveniently "forget" how bad service and long waits are worth it............ham, black olive and onion is the perfect combination......................excuse me......I'm drooling..............

Ummmm............yummy crust......lots of cheese...............

Ok, ok...............let's leave..................but it will be several months before I go back, because now I remember..............
