Luv-ah's Day
You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.
 -Sam keen
If you must know, I find this to be a turn-on. . . . . . someone cleaning up instead of me.  This is Boyd being all romantic.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
-Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

Blah, Blah, Blah,   I put this in because sometime Mr. B. gets confused and tells me he loves me "more than breath" it's this poem he is referring to. . . . . the dolt!

Obedience. . . . ummm
This is what we're up against at our Monday nights with dumb dogs.  This
dog is a Border Collie, and the teacher informed the entire class (in front of all the  dogs, as if their feelings didn't matter) that she is the smartest dog in the class (breed wise).  Sadly her owners
could be the not-smartest (as in dumbest)

Here's another Border Collie, and she is pretty dang smart!
Remember. . . . next dog needs to be Border Collie
This is an English Bulldog, and he gets the dumbest dog award, but his face is
so cute, we all laugh and  say how cute he is and it makes his owner feel a little better.  His name is Tug.

These two are a Golden Retriever and some other
"frenchie" thing that is what the
teacher says when she refers to her.
The "Frenchie" dog's name is Tolick
because she likes to lick.. . . . . .find me a dog that doesn't like to lick!! Another dumb owner - arggggg

This dog's name is Warner. This picture does not do this dog justice, he is big and scary, some sort of Pit Bull mix, and he is aggressive an he scares me, but he actually is pretty well behavedThere are a couple of other dogs, and dogs being dogs I couldn't get a picture of them when they were sitting still.  Dogs are a lot like kids, repeat, reward, repeat, reward, repeat, reward, swear, repeat, reward. . . . . to infinity and beyond.

It's 6 and a half. . . . . . . .

The other day Boyd and I were perusing the aisles at Red Balloon Toy store, and we come across these awesome mini 3' yellow stanley tape measures.  I said: "Do you think the Lloyd Boys would like these?" Boyd said: "Doesn't matter, you are going to buy them anyway!" and I said: "why yes, I am".  And I did. And then when we met up with the Lloyds, sans Travis, at 5 Guys Burgers (fabity fab fab fabulous burgers by the way, but not as good as Salt City Burger) we give these little babies to the Lloyd boys.  They did exactly what I knew the would, the proceeded to measure everything, and I mean everything.
This is Alex measuring "The Sophster" (I still haven't come up with a perfect name to call her, I've been trying lots of them, Dekota was "Baby Doll" and Bryson was "Sweet Cheeks" and Isaac was "Little Sir" and Hannah was "The Bug" and Milo was "The Gooker" and Alex was "Mr. Mr." and Vivien was "Vivvers (?)" but what to call Miss Soph-a-licious"?) anyway back to my story......Alex is measuring her foot. It was a successful meal, the Boys were wonderful and everything "measured up"!

"What's that?" you say. . . . . . .

Why good friend, that would be spring on the horizon. Can you believe we made it through the January doldrums? We've come to this new month with hardly a flake of snow, and I've missed it. There is a happiness in my heart knowing that even if we are met with some truly outstanding snow storms, the days are getting longer and the sun will shine and Spring will advance with her pretty skirt of lovely. . . . . . . . . .

Crocus, and daffy-down-dillys and such. There is a lightness in my step and a song in my heart. "What song?" you ask.........Here's comes the Sun little darlin'. . . . . . . . .
