Cool & Foggy

Wow...it's cool enough to see your breath tjis morning.   It's only supposed to get to 63 degrees today. I'm glad I brought me a hoodie.

Drive with a view

We drove down highway 101....this is outside Ocean City...gorgeous....temps in the 60's.......ahhhhhhh.....I love an ocean view.  This trip is just what the Dr. Ordered.....or if there was a Dr. He would surely order it.

Say Cheese

We stopped at the cheese factory at Tillamook.  I had  5-scoop sample because the scoops we only the size of a golf ball.....they lied....the scoops were much bigger.  I made a gallent attempt, but I'm not a HUGE Ice cream lover...I'm huge and a lover...but you get it.  They had a fudge counter...with my favorite penoche....so we purchased a pound of fudge (4 different flavors) now we're off doen the coast to Lincoln City.

The Beautiful Portland Temple

It doesn't matter where you go the Temples are always breathtaking.  The one in Portland is no different.  Nestled among tall pines...it's spires are peeking thru.  We are having a great trip with our neighbors,  the Neffs.

Ore-gon on vacation

Well, after a few months of planning over multiple dinner dates, we are off to the Pacific Northwest.  Oregon to be exact.  We will head up thru Idaho and along the Columbia River. Spend a few days in Portland, then to Tillamook and down the coast. We will finish up Reno at "Hot Summer Nights" a big classic car show that Mr. Mr. has wanted to go to for years.  We are going with our neighbors, Jerry & Barb Neff.

But the basil is ready........

tomatoes........basil............fresh mozzarella.

it's a happy dance for your mouth.

 

My garden is pathetic....

but it makes me happy to know

there is something growing out there.
