PREP WORK. . . . .

Well, well well, I pulled this bad boy out from his hiding place this morning. I mounted him, as if there was no such thing as "fear" in my life. I'm afraid, very afraid. By ignoring this guy, I put myself in a bad situation. It's March. . . . . Spring and capris are just around the corner. What have I been thinking all winter?

I rumaged around and found this "fake tan in a tube" and smeared it on my all-too full calves and arms, and face. Tan cellulite less offensive that white cellulite.

I'm waiting for this little guy to be brave enough to go into the 50's and 60's.

Ah. . . . . . Summer.
I'm waiting.
I'm working on my tan.
I'm going to try to be "less" of a person.
I'm pulling out my capris.
I'm looking for green shoots to show
themselves thru the snow!

Ahh. . . . near perfection!

Yesterday was a very good day.
I worked the perfect shift
Only 6 hours.
Then I went to the dentist
for a teeth-cleaning
All clean and smooth and no cavities!
Then for a walk in the perfect
sunshine and blue skies that were
March 1, 2011 in Utah.
Home to make something that makes
me feel summery - chicken salad.
After that, Mr. Mr. booked Me, Harmony
and himself for a massage at our
neighborhood Massage Envy.
I had a relaxation massage, and had
them work my back, shoulders, neck
and head - it was de-lish.
I slept like a baby.
(the massage therapist said I would
it's his speciality)
What a day, what a day.
I like to be surprised in the
middle of the week when
great day makes itself known!!

Scissor Happy

Well, I cut my own bangs.
I've cut them in the past
well, really trimmed them.
This time I cut them, they
are rather shorter than I wanted.
Somebody needs to save me
from myself.
My hairstylist has been a
bit under the weather . . .
here's wishing her a speedy
recovery from morning sickness
and kidney stones- arggggg
poor thing. I don't dare
color my re-growth.

This isn't what it looks like

These are not peeps I've just purchased.
These were purchased last Easter.
I took from their hiding/resting/ageing/hardening place
in January. I ate them and they
were PERFECT!!
Just the way I like them.
Hard- - like a rock.
They soften a bit when they are
worked around in you mouth.
I must remember to stash more than
one measly package this year for
my next winter enjoyment.

Florida Vacation
Warning, lots of pictures!

These are (2) of the greatest traveling
companions. Don't let their
goofy looks fool you. . . . . . .
When things slow down. . . .
they find a wheelchair!!
We visited the Mount Dora art festival.
I saw a shirt that said "I climbed Mt. Dora. . . . Elevation 165'"
It cracked me up. This is My Hunka Hunka
Burnin' love standing in line for a gyro.
This is the Wayland & Joanie Family,
sitting on "Mt. Dora" (?)
not really!
I happened upon this bit of
sculpture that I liked.
This is Mr. Brad and his
gorgeous grand-daughter
The Darling Lainey!!
(Brad was making this face at Bev)
This is a picture of Spanish Moss.
It was everywhere, I loved it so much.
Joanie told me there were some really
creepy red bugs that lived in it, so it lost
a bit of it's "charm" but not much.
We went to Blue Springs and
saw some manatees. They were
so great.
This is the other "Fab Four"
We are standing on South Beach in
Miami!! Can you ever be sad
standing on the beach?
My toes were so happy
to be in the sand!!
We went to the Art Deco district
in South Beach. .. . . . . .

This is a couple of old farts
sitting on a bench just "chillin"
It was kind of creepy.

We headed to Little Havana to find a
fine hand rolled cigar. We found some
"FREE" cigar boxes. Such a find
Bev can sniff out all sorts of cool things!

This alligator was in Shark Valley (I know should be gator valley)
It was kinda surreal to be this close!!
Boyd scared the sh$% outta me . . . he
actually touched this guys tail.
He's an idiot!!
Not sure I remember the name
of this bird. This trip made me want
to join the Audubon Society.
Wayland likes to touch
the wildlife!!
He learned from his mama. . . . .
These guys were everywhere!
We ate at this little spot in
Everglade City.
It had no real "style" just lots
of kitsch!
This little motel is where we stayed.
Everglade City could be a fun, lazy,
end destination for some real nice
"down time"
We had this guy provide us
with some canoes to paddle down
the river!!
It was like . . . . . . .real
fun. . . . and
exciting. . . . . .
just like the movies. . . .
Mother Nature is AWESOME

The Fab Four . . . . . .again on Sanabel Island. . . .. shelling
Boyd in front of the space capsule
Sanabel (?)
Saturn 5 rocket
This was the moon rover (?) I think
it looked like it wouldn't even get
into a small-town parade, it was
covered in gold foil.
This is me and mr. at the Space Center.
It was really awesome.
A fruit stand on the way to St. Augustine.
The Fort at St. Augustine.

Mile "0" of the Old Spanish Trail.
My dinner at The Raintree
Boyd's dinner at the Raintree

This is what we found when we arrived
home. Thanks to the Lloyd Brothers.

Triple Thanks to my Fabulous Oldest Brother and
his Outrageous wife. We had a great trip. They were
so gracious to take us and share their vacation and
sacrifice time with their kids to show us a good time.

p.s. we need to talk and
"square up" what we
owe you!!
