I know it's Spring. . . . . . . .

I know it's spring because

it's time for LDS General Conference.

WAKE UP LADY. . . . . . . .

This has been my wake-up jolt for several years. I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE it. The sight of the can makes the salivary glands in the back of my tongue start working over-time. I'm looking for caffeine free Diet Dew because I love the taste so much but don't want the caffeine after lunch. I started out drinking 1 can a day, then increased to 2 cans, and now *gasp* sometimes it's a 3-can morning. . . . . . . .like I said I don't drink it after lunch time because I need to sleep at night

My neighbor (who will remain nameless but has the

initials neighborof GN)  give me these to try.  I've

tried the orange and grape and

neither of them are very good - that being said

they are much better than the GreenTeaHP that

is being touted out there in commercial-land.

Now (drum-roll. . . . . )  one of my personal people, has been using

this with great results (20+ lbs of weight loss) she took it

as an energy drink but noticed it suppressed her appetite.

(Oh Lord. . . .I want this to be my genie in a bottle)

I decided to order some and try it.  I ordered the Fruit Punch.  I must say it is better than the ZipFizz.  It has about 120 MG of caffeine in it, so it

will also need to be consumed before lunch.

The only downfall is this. . . . .

I LOVE LOVE LOVE carbonation. 

This product is not carbonated.

So many things to love about my Diet Mt. Dew.  I love the burn in my throat as it blasts to my gut.

I Love the way my eyes sometimes water because

of the carbonation.  I love looking forward to my first can of the morning.

Sounds weird -- huh-- 

QUICK TRIP WITH BIG-BAD.....

I drove to Washington with Big-Bad-Brad. . . . . .he's not so bad. . . . .really.  We had a great trip home to see Mom and Dad.

Dad's always happy to see us.

Mom had fresh bread. . . . . . .ummmmmm

All the brothers and some nephews put a sprinkling

system in for Mom &  Dad.  There was a tree stump that was

really bugging Golden

So he started digging.

After digging for most of the day he got

out some straps and "hitched" it to his truck.....

Haul that bad-boy outta here

Then fill in the hole!!

It made me tired watching him!!

Calling All Super Heros

This little guy turned 4......and Batman was the order of the day.

This little girl changes so much, that I have to snap her picture whenever I can.

You can't tell, but Grumpy went to the party as "Super Grump" and Harmony went as "cat Woman" We even put a cape on Ellie and she went as Super Dog, but super photographer didn't get any pictures, so she's a super-dud.

Me Me it's all about me.........

I've interrupted my blog post bringing you happy family vacation photos to fill you in on what has happened to Miss Harmony.  She was thinking that maybe she was no longer the center of my universe, that maybe I had other things to do,.......so she came down with a sweet case of viral pneumonia.  That brought her back to the center of attention.................actually she was sicker than a dog for several days.  She called me at work to see if I could take her to a Dr. appointment, she said she was feeling really puny and her vision was blurred and didn't think she could drive herself.  When I arrived home and took a look at her, I suggested we go to the ER.  

They admitted her, and there she stayed for (2) nights,  they only agreed to let her come home, if she brought the oxygen with her.

So here she is. . . . . practicing being 80 years old,

I personally think it's not a good ploy to get attention.!!

No, really, she's been sick and I'm glad she's feeling like she's part of the "land of the living!"
