The day in a nutshell.....

I recieved a card from my mom......it had pictures of boobs and the song:
Do your Boobs hang low
Do they wobble too and fro
Can you tie them in a ribbon
Can you tie them in a bow
Can you throw them over your shoulder
Like a Continental Soldier
Do your boobs hang low......

inside it said:

That song isn't as funny as is used to be...huh!

No Mom, it isn't!!

These were some items from my pals at work.
I told Boyd I wanted a watch with a big face.........he listened.......I love it
If I get too blind to be able to tell the time in this bad-boy,
I will be in no shape to care what time it is.
We headed over for a smothered burrito (my birthday request) We happened to sit
by these peeps.  Harmony used to nanny for them.  Aria was just a few months old
when she started.  She';s 9 now......so cute.  The were just finishing up and left.
Later our waiter.....the fabulous and handsome "Ernesto" told us that Matt had paid
for our dinner.   Yeah....Happy Birthday to me.....
These are birthday cards that the Lloyd Boys made for me....along with a reeses peanut
butter cup.....chocolate............peanut butter...................ummmmmmm

This is the smothered burrito...with cheese....double beans....no rice...perfection.
When I got home I added my watch to my collection...............this is sort of kooky
I took about 8 of my favorites to the watch shop and had batteries put in them.
But my new one is my favorite...I think I have about 25-30.  I need to purge most
of them and keep the best.  I have a Minnie Mouse that says "Miss Fabulous" on the
face.....Love it, I have an old Mickey Mouse "Steamboat Willie" watch that I love
too.  Oh, shoot, maybe I won't be able to purge as many as I should..........I
do love my new one....she fits right in.

Gulp.......yes......I'm...............................

Why does my face look 55 but
inside my head I feel like I did when I
was 25......what's up with that.
So, I'm 55 and I'm ok with that!

What a week...............
Saturday September 29th started out at the movie theatre
with the Lloyd Boys watching the much anticipated
 "Hotel Translyvania".
They were loving it.........
Later that afternoon we received a call from a motorist that was behind this car.
The car belongs/belonged to Harmony.
This wonderful person told us that she pulled over and was able to provide comfort until
the paramedics were on the scene and took her
to the hospital.
Nothing makes your heart lurch more than walking
into an ER and them telling you:
"Your daughter is in trauma bay 3, a crisis worker
will come and speak to you."
All kinds of scenarios were playing out in my
head, none of them were good.
These are some pictures that are appropriate for a blog.
She has severe bruising where her seat belt was.
In fact, I didn't know that the
body could bruise the way she has bruised.
The airbags from both sides depolyed and she
had some burns on her chin.
I have pictures but they will
not be on this blog.
This "Bride of Frankenstein" stitched gash is wonderful for the
Halloween season.
Harmony was released from the
Hospital on
Sunday the 30th with no head or spine
injuries, which we are feeling like
it is our own private miracle.
I know Heavenly Father was watching
out for her, and I feel very blessed.
Fast forward to this weekend.
Boyd cleaned out the hot tub and
filled her up................yeah for me.
Here are some tomatoes out on the deck
that are hanging in there hoping they
get to ripen.
The rest of this weekend was spent watching General Conference.
My heart was full of gratitude to Heavenly Father for the
many blessings he has given me.  I have determined to
be a better person, one who deserves the abundance that
has been laid at my feet.

TO OKC AND THE TAYLOR TOTS................
Hannah's class had a chalk art contest.  They had a week to get their art completed.  The teacher was driving around and taking pictures of random homes (She came to Pioneer Circle in Edmond and saw this) after it was completed the student was to take a picture and submit it to the school, and then the judging would be completed and winners announced Friday September 28.
(I've got my fingers crossed that she wins)
Megan had a recipe for home made sidewalk chalk paint using water, cornstarch and food coloring.
This took Megan, myself, Hannah, Milo and Samantha (neighborhood friend) about 3 hours.  That's about 12 cups of cornstarch...............................it was pretty awesome.
"Tots" take swim lessons at the neighborhood YMCA, Hannah has a really, really, really darling
swim instructor...............I'm just sayin'.................
She's so dang cute, all smiles and giggles and full of fun
as only 7 year old girls can be full of.
Viv and Milo are in the same class, they love the water,
no fear....all smiles.
Their instructor was just "average mom" ---hahahahahaha
I tried to get into to the locker......only my thigh would fit.....

KRISPY KREME.....................'nuf said.
The spRinKleS GrosS me out, but eveRy kId LoVes tHeM
We went to Dinner on Friday night to "Fish City"
Even though OKC is hundreds of miles from the ocean
The fish was dang good.
The Taylors moved from The Village in OKC to Edmond............about 10 miles north-ish.
It is down a country road with 4-way stops
and cows and fences and trees and bushes
and hay fields and
and hawks eating carrion,
and long horned steers
and horses and everything  country..... and flat.
This is the view from the parking lot at Hannah's school.
Flat.................I kept asking "which way are we going"
Another view...........
I got so turned around with no
mountains to mark my location.........
(I can get lost in a phone booth, so the Mountains
don't always help me!!)
This is what a "walk-a-thon" looks like when you are in
Pre-K.....just hangin' with your
homies and doing the chicken dance,
and strutting with Miley Cyrus' "Party in the USA"
and gyrating to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and many more fun songs......I was so glad I could be there and see this cutie.
What's a walk-a-thon without a cute little blonde cheerleader on the sidelines rooting for you and smiling that smile!
And what about stopping for a water break with a very handsome
pal....(Joshua)
who just happens to let you
in on his style secrets....
always pop you collar when wearing a golf shirt!!!
(you can never start too early with fashion tips)
I'm not sure Joshua would wear a
super-hero T-shirt....just sayin'
This 7 year old girl wanted a manicure.........I painted these nails......
red with white dots.........so 2nd grade chic!
All that chalk art did a number on her hands.
Reading "Diary of a Wimpy Kid"
Every kid I know loves these books.
Best of all.............the Taylors have a new family member..........
Miss Apple
She's house broke, sweet, quite, low-energy...................
Milo LOVES her...
so much..........................not sure I've met a boy who
needed and wanted a dog more than
Milo..his first love affair.
This is NOT the "stink-eye"
It has worked out that on most of my trips to OKC, the day I leave we eat at Taco Bueno (becuase it's more bueno)
It's really just a jazzed up Taco Bell................
Me and the Vivvers................
Milo took this picture of me and my posse...............
See next trip................next year *sob*  *sigh*
