Here Comes The Sun

This morning was one of those perfect mornings.  I slept like the dead.  I woke up refreshed.   I cooked some sausage as I was getting ready for the day. (My day starts in Chesterfield with big ole' velcro rollers in my hair and a 3 mile walk with my bestie)  The smell of my breakfast cooking made me smile...I love starting the day with pork......divine swine.   I was all packed.......work clothes-(check) breakfast (check)  Diet. Mt. Dew (check)  The traffic was unusually light (its usually light at 6:00 am) and the other drivers on the belt route we well behaved, and most were driving the speed limit.  When I turned on 3100 South I saw this beautiful sunrise.  I pulled to the side of the road and snapped this. Happy Tuesday everyone.

Happy 4th

Me  and my "hunka-hunka burnin' love" were feeling all "happy independence day-ish" so we headed to our favorite ♥♥♥ Mexican Restaurant for an all-American breakfast.  Nothing says red white and blue like chilie verde, tortillas and eggs smothered in salsa.  We tried to go to The Black Bear Diner.........the line was no-bueno.  We'll repent this evening by eating a big juicy burger at "Salt City Burger"

River Rats
(the other "Rat Pack")
On a beautiful Friday morning, Mr. Mr. and I
left the safety of our
home and headed out to pick up our
River Running Pals.....
that fearless couple who "eat danger for breakfast!"
The Ever-lovely Bev.........
Don't let this calm exterior fool you.
She is quick, sly and ready for excitement.
Me.....I just try to keep up.
I think to myself:
"self, What would Bev do?"
In preparation for our death-defying
River Run, we stopped at the
General Store.
To ease our nerves we
dressed up for old-time(y) pictures.
The always cool and collected Brad,
with his trusty side arm...and Bev.
Bev with her "come hither" look,
trying to seduce Brad......

The "Dangerous Duo"
(They would gladly mop the
floor with you...so you've been warned)

Boyd and I.......trying to look tuff!

Tune in tomorrow for more of
our Moab-Madness.
The Rampage of this
dastardly four-some!
