WARNING WARNING....LOTS OF PICTURES OF OUR TRIP TO OKC....
This is me and my hunka-hunka burnin' love
on the flight to OKC.
On our 1st leg from SLC to Denver.......
I sat by a person who should
have purchased (2) seats.......
she was encroaching on my seat by about
(8) inches.............arggggg......
I had to practically give Boyd a lap dance
during the flight.
(this picture was taken before the
lap dance.....that's why he doesn't
look too happy....he smiled later! can you say
"boom-chicka-wow-wow")
We we in the air about (5) minutes when the person to
my right who had already put me in a less than charitable mood, had to go to the bathroom................of course,
we tried to hang out in the aisle,
but they flight attendant came on and told
us that we needed to
stay seated until the "seat belt" sign was off......
so we sat down and just
got comfortable............back up to let her pass...........
After we arrived, we were hungry. So we went to Rudy's BBQ.  This is a picture of a smoked baked potato with cheese, sour cream, butter and smoked turkey, it was stupendously delicious.
I ate and ate and ate........and this is what was left.  I took it back to the Hotel because i was thinking it would hit the spot at about 10:30 when I had the munchies.
This a large crate that they pack your order in......
it was huge, and they had
big pieces of butcher paper as your "plate".
Mr. Mr. had ribs, brisket, beans and slaw.................
he is not shy
when it comes to BBQ.
Swimming at the Hotel.
goober...........
Goober #2

The reason for the trip is "The Bug's" baptism.........
I'm thinking my pictures are not
in the right order......I've been having
some issues in downloading massive amounts
of pictures.....please bear with me.
This is Sweet Bugly after she got wet..............
She was so excited to get baptized.  She was so happy
that everyone was there for her.........
until she looked out at a room full of peeps (40-50)
Then there was a look of panic on her face, her mom and
dad took her out......and about 10 minutes later she
reappeared and silently wept for the remainder of the program/ordinance.
too funny.  She is "high anxiety" like her mama.
It's hard to get (5) peeps together and looking in the same
direction.....but they did.
This is the Bug and her "bestie" checking out her necklace.
I cannot blog about a trip without mentioning food......
we all went to eat.....I cannot remember the name of the
establishment.  They had a pretty varied menu.
I had the fillet.....cooked medium well and it was
perfect.,  There was some candied carrots cooked
with green and red peppers, yummmmmmy,
and some onions cooked with jalapenos.....spicy....hot
a little too much for my pitiful palate.
Jeff had some pulled pork....I think,
with homemade potato chips and pears,
ummmmmmm................
This is the crew......
Jeff's parents, his twin and twins wife and kiddos,
his sister.  Megan's dad and you cannot see Jeff, Boyd or I.
Megan and Norma were at the kid's table......
they are troopers.

Back at Taylor Compound......playing Monopoly Millionaire.
Too much fun was had
Monday Morning Jeff made omelette's....they were fantastic.
It really is the best thing to do when you
have 97 pounds of leftover ham.
This is the best face........................
She is so so so sweet......love her to bits.
Jeff took us to downtown OKC to the Devon Energy Tower
It's a 50 story building of glass and light....we were in the 10 story atrium. Which is the only place we had access to.
I would like to go back when they have it
finished, I'm sure it will be full of sculpture,
and plants and art.........it has the
potential for fabulous-ness
or fabulousity....pick your adverb (?)
Funny how an energy company has a big old
centerpiece to "Integrity"
I guess if they post it enough it will be truc.
This is the view looking up in the atrium
and seeing the tower.
It was much cooler in real life.
She always gets the best seat in the house.
Soggy bottom and all.
This is our (3) generation picture outside.
Notice we have our sunglasses on and we
are squinting because it was so sunny.....
I thought that with the
inversion we've had in SLC, that I had lost my squint....
not so.....squint and eye wrinkles are worth
seeing the Sun.
Goodbye from The Devon Energy Tower in OKC............
I feel like Yertle the Turtle.....with
the world on my shoulders........
