When Heaven becomes Hell. . . . . . . . . . .

I woke up last night at midnight - naked!
(I went to bed with undies on)
I forgot to say when I woke
up at midnight I was SWEATING!
I turned on the AC.
(BTW my RM Power bill last month was $209.00
an all-time high)
I woke up again at 3:00 a.m.
Still naked (I didn't remedy that
from the midnight sweats)
Still sweating, but the
AC was off. . . . so I turned it on.
Up again at 4:30 - sweating
Turned on the AC.
Alarm went off at 5:07.
Bad headache (I'm sure from
dehydration)
Called Val. . . . informed her
I would not be walking with her today.
Took 800 mg of Ibuprofen and
returned to bed, after I turned on
the AC. . . . .again.
Started to think that maybe hell will
be one ETERNAL hot flash.

MEATLOAF MONDAY MOVED. . . . .

Not this meatloaf.

This meatloaf.
It's was going to be meatloaf Monday.
But someone brought home
pizza to throw the week off.
So, the meatloaf
is now Tuesday.
This will throw off my
Taco Tuesday,
And Wacky Wednesday.
Actually, I don't fix the same
thing each day, that would
be sort of "Rainman"ish.
I have some OCD's
but not that bad yet.
What to eat with my
meatloaf-muffins?
Salad. . . . . . .
um. . . . . . . . . .

Definite Rambling!

Friday, Friday, Friday is my favorite day.
I woke up this morning with many things
running thru my pea-sized intellect that I wanted to
accomplish this weekend!!
1- Go to be early tonight (promise)
2- Sleep in tomorrow (how D-Lish)
3- Make a menu for next week’s suppers
(we’ve been eating not so good stuff for supper
this week thank you Boyd for not complaining. . . . . too loud)
4- Practice piano this weekend
(I made a resolution at the first of the
year to practice 30 min a week!!!)
5- Keep de-junking.
I purchased large bins,
I’ve cleared out an entire shelf
in a closet by just putting all my purses in
the bin to store
(Megan took 1 home to OKC
if you read this, keep it.
I don’t want it back!)
6- Since our “cubby” got flooded
and all my Christmas stuff was
stored in there,
I get to go thru it and toss what I
don’t use but have a hard time throwing.
7- Put (2) 40 gallon fish aquariums
on KSL.com to sell.
This list could keep growing. I haven’t been downtown to the farmer’s market yet this season. We’re going with some friends to Snowbird to ride the tram to the top and eat birthday cake and talk and WEAR OUR COATS!!
I have props to prepare for Primary
tomorrow. I have laundry and vacuuming
and mopping, and weeding, and, and and
the list is endless.

I know that the first (2) items on the list are self-defeating if I want to get a lot done, but, in all fairness, they were to first items to pop into my consciousness so I think they deserve serious consideration!! Being tired is still a big part of my life, I love to sleep. It has not always been this way, I used to pride myself on how little sleep I needed, and how much I could do. Those days are gone. I need sleep. I love sleep. I crave sleep. I think about when I can get in bed and go to sleep. I will trade many things to get my necessary zzzzzzz’s. I'm just a big ole ball of tired!!

BEHOLD THE GARAGE.....APPLIANCE GARAGE!
(de-junk part deux)

Before "Little Meg-Little Meg"

This was what my appliance garage
looked like inside. . . before.
The walls had been covered with
formica and when we removed
the formica and put in
the appliance garage
we didn’t cover the walls
thinking. . . . .
“who would see?”
Megan had the bright
idea to modge-podge
some scrapbook paper
on the walls.
We made a trip to
Pebbles In My Pocket
and found this paper that
was sort of “retro”
I loved it.
Megan did all the
work, measuring,
cutting, gluing, “podging”
This is the end result.
I love it!
Also. . . . . . I got rid
Of an old waffle iron
that I haven’t used
since I got my new one.
(de-junk)
I also got rid of a sandwich
maker/griddle thing-y
that I never use, because
I pull out my griddle.
(de-junk)
Actually I brought it to work
because you cannot make
a grilled cheese sandwich in
a microwave.

The only complaint come
from Boyd
a.k.a “Grumpy”
when he was shown the
inside “Tah-DAh!”
he said:
“Looks like Megan needs
something to do!” in that
oh so snarky way he has!!
I don't care what he says
I love the beautification of my
ugly corner

UN-CLUTTER... DE-JUNK

Megan is gone.
She left me with the desire
to de-junk.
She is a "throw-it-away" kinda gal.
I'm a "what if I need it later" kinda lady.
Sadly, I de-junked
a few things into her possession.
(2) dolls that Hannah wanted.
(once I showed them to her)
A pillow that Hannah wanted.
(again, I showed it to her
)
***please see side note at
bottom of the post***

A set of bowls that I didn't
use all that often, but liked
them just the same.
(I love the space they left
in my cupboard better)
Yeah! a new life in OKC, if they
find their way to the "round-file"
I never have to know! They
can live on in my memory. *sigh*
Today is Wednesday, garbage collection day.
Empty Garbage cans that can be filled.
I can hardly wait.

***Isaac comes to my home on
Sunday's. Nearly every week he
comes and shows me something that
he wants to take home. Mostly I
say no, because there are things
he will want to play with later.
But. . . . I may be persuaded to
let some of the go in the future.

I want this for 5 minutes

When I'm in charge
and I'm called "Mother Nature"
5-minutes will be an option.

Shiver-me-Vivers

I see your hiney,
It's white and shiney,
If you don't hide it,
I'm gonna bite it!

There's some bum pinching
going on at my
home!!
