New Year....Eve....morning
Gosh, our kids are married with kids of their own and now......*sigh* they are making plans with their friends for New Year's Eve.........It was Boyd, Harmony and I eating a smothered burrito on New Year's Eve. Gone are the days of making Chinese Food for New Year's Eve......Gone is having my house smell like a grease pit for a week after all that frying of won tons and sesame chicken and ham fried rice. (secret: I don't particularly miss it....too much work)

Last night I was thinking about our traditions of Chinese food and banging pots and pans. And if course Boyd's new years omelets. Nom nom. I was kind of sad we didn't do the first 2, so I requested omelets for breakfast, but we had a late and lazy start to our day. I got my omelet for dinner. :-) happy new year, lady!
